Recruitment - Privacy Statement

The personal data you provide in your application and as part of the recruitment process will only be held and processed to facilitate the selection process and to communicate with you in connection with this and any subsequent employment. We may also be required to verify your information and conduct reference checks.  

Access to your personal data is only shared with selected employees such interviewing managers, potential future line managers or HR staff and selected third parties who support us with the recruitment process.

In the event of your application results in an offer of employment and you accept a position at the MND Association, the data collected will become part of your employment record and will be used for employment purposes in line with our privacy statement.

Unsuccessful application data will be retained to consider you for other positions at the Association and deleted from the recruitments system at 12 months of the hiring process end date. If you wish to delete your data at any time please contact us by email to applications@mndassociation.org If after this period, we feel it necessary to retain your records, we will notify you by email. The request to retain your records will set out the reasons why we wish to hold the information for a longer time period.

  • confirming that any statement you have made as part of your application is true and to the best of your knowledge by submitting your interest
  • consenting to the processing and storage of your personal data in order that you can progress through our recruitment process
  • agree that we may use your data for internal reporting i.e. equality & diversity analysis
